Welcome to Troop 74!

Welcome to Troop 74 of Atlanta, Georgia! Located in the heart of Buckhead, Troop 74 has been in existence for over 70 years. We have a very active membership made up of scouts from a wonderful cross-section of schools and churches throughout Atlanta. We pride ourselves on emphasizing the fun in scouting, helping build young scouts into confident, responsible young adults. If you like camping and lots of outdoor adventures, then Troop 74 is the place for you. Backpacking, rock climbing, skiing, motor boating, caving are just a few of the things scouts do with our troop every year.

We are always looking for new scouts, as well as adult leaders that want to join in our scouting fun. Having our own scout hut in the heart of Buckhead, dedicated solely to our use is quite a blessing for our Troop. Come by on any given night and you’ll likely smell a fire going outside and maybe even a dutch-oven cobbler or two!
